How is the website free? What is the catch?
There is no catch, just a simple order of events. We design and build your website free, and you see it live before deciding anything. If you love it, you can host it with us: hosting is a paid annual service (from €79/year, with your domain, business email, SSL, daily backups, and support included), and you see the full pricing in your account before choosing. If you prefer, you can take your website to any other host, and we simply keep a small "Built by Bornbee" credit in the footer.
What if I don't like the website?
Tell us what feels wrong and we revise it. If it is still not right for you, you simply walk away. You have paid nothing and you owe nothing. We would rather lose a build than push you into something you do not love.
How will I see my website when it is ready?
We email you a private link. One click signs you into your account, no password needed, and your finished website is there, live on a preview address. You can browse it on your phone, share it with a friend, and take your time deciding.
Do I need any technical skills to get started?
No. Share your work, bio, and contact details. We handle the design, hosting, domain, and email setup. You receive a ready website without touching any code.
What is included in the starter website?
A professionally designed website with up to 3 pages, including a homepage, about section, and contact page, built around your work and your contact path. Responsive design, SSL, professional email, and daily backups come with it when you host with us.
How fast can my website go live?
Most starter websites can be prepared in about 7 business days after we receive the details we need. Bigger projects, missing content, migrations, or custom features can take longer.
Do I pay anything before I see my website?
No. You pay nothing to request a website and nothing while we build it. You only ever pay if you choose to host your finished website with us, and everything is shown clearly in your account before you decide.
Will I get an email like hello@myname.com?
Yes. Professional email at your domain is included with every plan. No extra cost, no separate subscriptions. It works with any email app you already use.
Can I use my own domain or do I need a new one?
Both. Bring your existing domain or register a new one through us. We handle DNS, SSL certificates, and email configuration so everything connects cleanly.
Is the free domain really free?
Yes. When you host with us, your first year includes a free domain: a new registration of a .com, .net, .org, .de or .it. Premium domains and any domain priced over €15 per year are not included; if you choose one, you only pay the difference. The domain renews at the standard price after the first year.
What if I need changes or new features after launch?
You can edit your own content anytime through a simple dashboard. For bigger changes, new features, or ongoing maintenance, check out our extra support services where you can hire us for regular upkeep or custom development.
Do I own my website and content?
Yes. Your website, content, domain, and data belong to you. You can export or move everything at any time. There is no lock-in.
How does the contract work?
We build and show you your website first, with nothing to pay. If you choose to keep it online with us, hosting is billed annually, and everything included is shown clearly in your account before you decide.
